This section will provide you as an educator with some basic information about elements of computer security that you can be aware of and institute in your educational environment. These pages will provide you with information in helping to to protect you and your students from outside intruders.
In raising your own awareness as to what steps you can take, you can take steps to protect your students, their data, and their identities making the use of technology to broaden their learning experience a safer one.
Security does not have to be perfect, but the risks have to be manageable. The more preventative steps you take, the safer your educational environment becomes.
